Simon’s journey in veterinary medicine began in suburban Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, where his early passion for science and technology was nurtured by his family. He graduated from Massey University’s Veterinary School in 2001 and honed his skills in mixed practice before embarking on a companion animal internship in the United States. Returning to New Zealand, Simon pursued advanced studies, earning a Companion Animal Master of Veterinary Medicine from Massey University. With a solid foundation in clinical practice, Simon transitioned to a role as a technical advisor and product manager at Virbac, a leading veterinary pharmaceutical company. However, his love for hands-on patient care eventually drew him back to clinical practice in 2021. Now based at Tristram Street Pet Doctors in Kirikiriroa / Hamilton, Simon has a special interest in dermatology and is trained in OssAbility TTA Cruciate Repairs. Beyond his expertise, Simon brings a genuine passion for improving the health and well-being of pets.
