We sadly had to say farewell to our awesome Vet Kerry recently! On a happier note, she was accepted into an internship at Idexx as she works to specialise in Pathology! So, we will still benefit from her awesome knowledge through our relationship with our laboratory.
Excitingly, we welcomed two new staff members!
First is our new Veterinarian – Dr Emma Ferris.
Emma graduated from Massey University in 2005 and joined the Hamilton Pet Doctors team in September She works mostly at Tristram Street, but also at the Dinsdale branch. Emma has spent time working in Australia, where she treated exotic diseases like tick paralysis and snake bites. She has also worked at a busy emergency clinic where she developed a special interest in emergency medicine and completed a master’s paper in emergency medicine.
Emma enjoys spending time with her family and animals (Jim, Tippy and Lucy), reading good books, trail running, and hiking with friends.
We are so grateful to have Emma on our team and know you will love her as much as we do!
We also have a new face on our customer service team here at Tristram Street. If you haven’t already – meet Sāndie!!!
She is new to the industry, but as huge animal lover you wouldn’t know it! She has two very loved fur-children at home!
She is passionate about your pets, and our care of them and is very dedicated to learning. She brings enthusiasm and a friendly, caring personality to our team.
We also celebrated our existing Vet, Simon! He has been a Vet now for 24 years! Happy Vetiversity Simon!
